Is MyCompany POS really free?
Yes. MyCompany is released under the Apache 2.0 license. There is no per-user or per-register license fee; you run it on your own infrastructure.
Can a cashier scan barcodes and use a touch screen?
Yes. Items can be added by search, barcode scanning or a touch-friendly product grid, depending on your configuration.
Does the system support returns and cashier shifts?
Yes. The Retail module covers sales, customer returns, opening and closing sessions, and control of operations by register.
Can we use several registers and payment methods?
Yes. Registers, locations and payment methods are configurable. The practical scale depends on your infrastructure and deployment design.
Can the POS be adapted to our workflow and local hardware?
